The Celina football suffered through a 4-6 season, but that wasn't enough to hide the things that Erik Chapin was doing on the field for the Bulldogs. The senior safety/quarterback was named first team All-Ohio on Monday afternoon after a sensational season for Celina. Chapin was an enforcer from the defensive backfield at the safety position, delivering vicious hits on a regular basis while also leading the team in tackles. On offense, Chapin became the first Celina quarterback to pass and rush for 1,000-plus yards in the same season. The 2005 Associated Press All-Ohio high school football teams are based on the recommendations of a state media panel.
