| | A group of children play in water up to their waists Friday afternoon behind the former Franklin Elementary School in Montezuma. A heavy rainfall dumped as much as 4 inches in some portions of the Grand Lake area on Thursday night. Many properties around the lake were flooded and several roads were closed due to high water Friday.
