Sealed bids, in accordance with Section 307.86 of the Ohio Revised Code, will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Mercer County, Ohio for the following items for the use of the Mercer County Engineer and Mercer County Townships for all work incidental thereto in accordance with the specifications therefore:

Specifications and bid forms are on file and may be obtained from the Mercer County Engineer, 4884 Mud Pike, Celina, OH 45822.
All bids for asphalt emulsion must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid. Checks should be made payable to the Board of Mercer County Commissioners. Failure to submit a proper bid guaranty will automatically invalidate the bid.
The Contracts will be awarded on a unit price basis. The Contracts shall be for the period of April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
The County may sample materials at any time and have same tested by an approved laboratory. All expenses of testing will be paid by the County.
The aggregate shall be furnished to county/township-owned trucks F.O.B. the Bidder's Plant.
The Board of Commissioners of Mercer County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities when the same are to Mercer County's advantage.

Bids will be received at the Mercer County Commissioners office located at Room A201, 220 W. The project includes the replacement of an existing waterline along State Route 703 and other related items. The project is located within the jurisdictions of both the City of Celina and Mercer County. One bidder will be awarded the entire project, with separate contracts being signed by each public entity for their respective portions of the project.
Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, sealed in the provided envelope, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid.

The City of Celina will receive sealed bids for the 2026 Street Resurfacing Project.

Notice is hereby given that Mile Creek Joint Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for herbicidal spraying of the Mile Creek permanent open ditch under jurisdiction of the Joint Board of County Commissioners. Bids will be received and opened at 10:00 a.m. on February 17, 2026, at the Mercer County Commissioners' Office in the Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, OH 45822.
Listed below are the specifications for said herbicidal application. Bids are to be submitted as a lump sum price of one application.

The contractor is limited to the open ditch as a working area. The contractor is also responsible for any part of the right-of-way along the ditch that has been seeded and mulched. The contractor and surety shall save harmless The Joint Board from all suits, actions, claims of any character brought on account of any injuries, or damages sustained by any person or property as a consequence of any neglect in safeguarding the work or through the use of unacceptable materials in the spraying of the Mile Creek, or on account of any act or omission by the contractor or his agents.
The herbicide to use shall be GARLON 3A. Any other material used shall be approved by the County Engineer prior to application.
A 95% kill of woody plants and broadleaf weeds is required or the contractor shall respray uncontrolled areas at his own costs until the 95% rate is obtained.
Payments shall be made within thirty (30) days after completing the spraying.
Completion date shall be June 12, 2026.
