For the use of the Mercer County Engineer, City of Celina & Village of Coldwater.
The Board of Commissioners of Mercer County, Ohio will accept sealed bids in accordance with Section 307.86 of the Ohio Revised Code on the following item:
ROAD DE-ICING SALT
2026-2027 WINTER SEASON
Sealed bids will be received by the Board until 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, on July 23, 2026, in the office of the Mercer County Commissioners located at 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, OH, 45822 for supplying the above item for the use of the Mercer County Engineer, the City of Celina and the Village of Coldwater. Sealed bids shall be in writing.
Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Mercer County Engineer, 4884 Mud Pike, Celina, Ohio 45822.
This Contract will be in effect from the award of the bid until no later than April 30, 2027.
Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, July 23, 2026, in the Office of the Mercer County Commissioners.
The Board of Commissioners of Mercer County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities when the same are to the advantage of the County.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS TO SUPPLY A TANKER TRUCK
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Mercer County Commissioners until 10:00 a.m. on July 9, 2026, for the purpose of supplying one Used 4,000 Gallon Tanker Truck for use by the Mercer County Sanitary Department.
Bids must be submitted to the Clerk of the Board of Mercer County Commissioners, located at Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, OH 45822. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2026.

Said bids shall be in writing and shall be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) in a guaranty that if the bid is accepted the bidder shall execute a contract in conformity to the invitation and the bid.

LIQUID POLYMER
The City of Celina is requesting sealed bids for Liquid Polymer, approximately 18,400 pounds/year, for screw press dewatering of aerobically digested wastewater sludge. Polymer jar testing and performance testing must be completed prior to bidding. The jar testing must be completed by the polymer supplier at the Celina Wastewater Treatment Plant with the assistance of Wastewater Treatment Plant personnel. Following jar testing, polymer suppliers must provide a 5-gallon pail of choice polymer(s) (maximum of two) to be bided to the Celina Wastewater Treatment Plant to allow City personnel to complete performance testing. Pails of polymer must be received no less than FIFTEEN (15) days prior to the bid date.
