Auglaize County Solid Waste District

Public Hearing Notice Period for Generation Fee Abolishment

The Auglaize County Solid Waste District Policy Committee (Policy Committee) is conducting a public notice for a public hearing on a resolution to abolish the solid waste management generation fees authorized in Ohio Revised Code 3734.573.  The proposal is to abolish the generation fee of $7.65 per ton.

The Board will hold a public hearing concerning its intention to abolish the generation fee on disposal and transfer facilities to receive solid waste generated within Auglaize County at the following date, time, and location:  

June 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Auglaize County Administrative Building, 209 South Blackhoof Street, Room 201, Wapakoneta, OH 45895.

Special Meeting

The Jefferson Township Trustees have scheduled a special meeting for May  5, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting location is 7171 Havemann Road, Celina, OH 45822. The purpose of the meeting is to review bids for the Harbor Point berm project.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Celina Tree Commission is holding a special meeting on Wednesday, April 29th at 4:00 p.m. at the Celina Public Works Building, located at 711 Hierholzer Street, Celina. The primary item for discussion is a review of the City's Tree Ordinance with guidance from our Regional Urban Forester from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry.
