John Fleck John Fleck, 80, 3381 Harrison Road, Celina, died at 12:10 a.m. today, April 6, 2004, at Celina Manor Nursing Home. He was born Nov. 23, 1923, in St. Sebastian, to George and Salome Rose Fleck. On July 6, 1946, he married Lillian Homan who died Jan. 23, 2003. Surviving are five sons, Paul (Shirley) and Mark (Jane), all of St. Sebastian, George (Mary Lynn) of Duluth, Ga., Johnny (Linda) of Minster, and Jim (Pam) of Chickasaw; and four daughters, Carolyn (Jim) Kohlrieser, Carthagena, Irene (Carl) Woeste, Burkettsville, Alice (Hank) Kaiser, St. Sebastian, and Wilma (Dan) Timmerman, Fort Recovery. Other survivors include a brother, Robert of Chickasaw; three sisters, Jean (Elmer) Wynk, St. Sebastian, Shirley (Elmer) Quinter, Wisconsin, and Janice (Tom) Rindler, North Star; a brother-in-law, Jerome Siegrist, Anna; three sisters-in-law, Margie Fleck, St. Sebastian, Alvina Uhlenhake and Rose Ontrop, both of St. Henry; 34 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two sons-in-law, Robert Link and Raphael Borgerding; two brothers, Lester and Earl; three brothers-in-law, Ferd, Ray and Bernard Homan; and three sisters-in-law, Marcella Smith, Ann Siegrist and Mary Borgert. He was a farmer and a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society, both of St. Sebastian, the Knights of St. John, Maria Stein, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Chickasaw. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. John Bensman officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. |
