Bruce Bensman

Bruce Michael Bensman, 21, Long Road, Versailles, died April 12, 2004, in a milk truck accident on Ohio 109, north of Ottawa.
   He was born Nov. 27, 1982, in Piqua, to Steve and Deb Rutschilling Bensman of Versailles.
   Surviving with the parents are a brother, Brent, at home; and the grandparents, Elmer and Doris Rutschilling and Virgil and Mildred Bensman, all of Versailles.
   He drove a milk truck for Bohman Trucking and previously worked as a carpenter for Pothast & Muhlenkamp Construction. A 2001 graduate of Versailles High School and Career Technology Center of Trotwood, he was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, and the pool league at SparkyÕs Place in North Star.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial will follow at St. ValbertÕs Cemetery, Versailles.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 8-9 a.m. Saturday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
   Contributions can be made to a charity of the donorÕs choice.


Bradley Giesige

Bradley John Giesige, 27, 634 W. Anthony St., Celina, died April 11, 2004, at St. RitaÕs Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to an aneurysm.
   He was born Sept. 27, 1976, in Langley, Va., to Frederick and Teresa Barhorst Giesige. His father and stepmother, Ann Green Giesige, survive in Celina. On Sept. 17, 1996, he married Jessica Gore who also survives.
   Other survivors include two daughters, Emily and Chloe, both at home; four brothers, Joseph, Andrew, Nicholas and Alexander, all of Celina; three sisters, Jennifer (Todd) Schaefer, Oregon, Lydia and Elyse, both of Celina; a brother-in-law, Shawn Severt, Celina; his mother-in-law, Judy Gore, West Union; and the grandparents, Patricia Giesige and Murle and Berniece Green, all of Celina, and Carl and Joann Barhorst, Lima.
   Deceased are grandparents Joan Barhorst and Raymond Giesige.
   He was a supervisor at AmCast Automotive, Wapakoneta. He was a 1996 graduate of Celina High School and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Richard R. Riedel officiating. Burial will be at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina.


Robert Lingo

Former Celina resident Robert F. Lingo, 80, of Centerville, died April 10, 2004, at his residence.
   He was born Dec. 29, 1923, in Dayton, to Frank and Clara Lingo.
   Surviving with his wife, Marge, are a son, Bob of Centerville; two stepdaughters, Shelia (Michael) Reynolds Thompson, San Diego, Calif., and Sharon (Gordon) Richards, Riverside, Calif.; two grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.
   He retired from the Mercer County SheriffÕs Office. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Celina, the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
   Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, Kettering.
   Calling is after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the church.


Don Thwaits

Don W. Thwaits, 86, Zillah Street, Celina, died at 2:25 p.m. April 12, 2004, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
   Arrangements are pending at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina.
