Robert Schulte Robert F. Schulte, 77, 800 Echo St., Celina, died at 10:59 p.m. June 8, 2004, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. He was born Dec. 2, 1926, in Celina, to Louis J. and Luedna M. Alexander Schulte. On Sept. 9, 1952, he married Colleen E. Doseck who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert J. (Kathleen) of Celina; a daughter, Sharon L. (David) Buirley, Celina; three sisters, Betty (Kenny) Dietrick and Marjorie Dabbelt, both of Celina, and Virginia Bensman, Fort Mitchell, Ky.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers-in-law, Tom Dabbelt and Charles Bensman. He retired in 1961 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, and was a watch repairman. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during World War II and the Korean conflict and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713 and the American Legion post, both of Celina. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jason P. Tyas officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys, with military rites conducted by the VFW and Legion. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Larry Houts Services for Larry Houts were 10:30 a.m. June 7, 2004, at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Rick Brosher officiated. Pallbearers to Mercer Memory Gardens were Brian, Keith and Kyle Houts, Kevin Rumsey, Carl Fly and Scott and Rodney Morgan. Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713 conducted military rites. |
