Pauline Link Carthagena native Pauline H. Link, 95, of Troy, died June 15, 2004, at Koester Pavilion in Troy. She was born July 7, 1908, in Carthagena, to Bernard and Rosa Depweg Heckman. In September 1929, she married Verner S. Link who died Oct. 5, 1974. Surviving are a brother-in-law, Richard Link, Coldwater, and a sister-in-law, Delores (Leonard) Belscher, Coldwater. Seven brothers and sisters are deceased. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, and had attended Immaculate Conception School in Celina. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Church, the Rev. Glen Perin officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. A rosary service will be held there at 7:45 p.m. Thursday. Townsend Hart
Townsend Elliot Hart, 82, 11321 Bobwhite Lane, St. Marys, formerly of Conneaut, died at 8:10 p.m. June 7, 2004, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. He was born July 27, 1921, in Cleveland, to Otto and Helen Peffers Hart. On June 12, 1948, he married Gene Mennell who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Roy (Jane) of Lancaster, Russell (Deborah) of Divide, Colo., and Paul (Veronica) of Fort Collins, Colo.; and two grandchildren. Prior to retirement, he owned and managed P&J Variety Store in Conneaut. He was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and served with the U.S. Navy Seabees in the Pacific theate during World War II. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, the Rev. Ed Groff officiating. Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, has charge of arrangements. Opal Sudhoff
