Esther Freeman Esther Margaret Freeman, 88, a resident of The Gardens at Celina, formerly of 3373 Carmel Church Road, Celina, died at 4:19 a.m. June 21, 2004, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born May 24, 1916, in Mercer County, to Michael and Amelia Baker Linn. On Oct. 19, 1935, she married Earl M. Freeman who died June 2, 1998.
Surviving are four sons, Roger (JoAnn) of New Bremen, Dennis (Mary) and William (Kathy), all of Coldwater, and Donald (Kathy) of Celina; a daughter, Jeanette (Charles) Grieshop, Mendon; a daughter-in-law, Carol (Dean) Donovan, Celina; a brother, Melvin (Anna) Linn, Celina; a sister, Marcella Rasawehr, Celina; 26 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Daniel; two brothers, Jerome and Vernon Linn; three sisters, Ruth Koch, Opal Siebert and Hazel Ferguson; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker, a member of Mount Carmel Church of God and a former member of Pleasantview Church of God, both of Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Mark Wakeland officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens near Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Dorothy Humbert
Dorothy L. Humbert, 78, of Rockford, died at 1 p.m. June 21, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Jan. 26, 1926, in Mercer County, to J. Homer and Leona Baker Carr. On Feb. 15, 1948, she married Robert E. Humbert who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Larry (Debbie) of New Philadelphia; two daughters, Diane (Ted) Rich, Berne, Ind., and Rita Kaye (Craig) Ripley, Willshire; a brother, Leland (Colleen) Carr, Paulding; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A sister, Mary Kathleen Carr, is deceased.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the WELCA women's organization, both of Chattanooga.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Randall Swanson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

Eugene Post
Eugene A. Post, 85, 2997 Fort Recovery-Minster Road, St. Henry, died at 1:45 a.m. June 20, 2004, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born April 11, 1919, in St. Wendelin, to John B. and Cordula Guggenbiller Post. On Aug. 30, 1941, he married Esther Selhorst who died April 25, 1999.
Surviving are three daughters, Marlene (Carroll) Abels, Fort Recovery, Barbara (Luke) Broering and Dorothy (John) Guggenbiller, all of St. Henry; two brothers, Ben (Joan) and Alvin (Alice), all of St. Henry; two sisters, Alma (Orville) Ranly, Philothea, and Mary (Jim) Faller, New Weston; two brothers-in-law, Henry Drees, St. Marys, and Leon Vondrell, Fort Recovery; two sisters-in-law, Esther Post and Norma Post, both of St. Henry; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, John G.; a daughter, Marlyn; three brothers, Gregor, Zeno and Hugo; four sisters, Rita Nerderman, Agnes Fullenkamp, Zita Drees and Rosie Vondrell; and a great-grandson.
He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society of the church and the Knights of St. John, Maria Stein.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
