Ann Braun

Ann L. Braun, 37, 612 Woodland Ave., St. Henry, died at 10:55 a.m. July 31, 2004, at University Hospital, Cincinnati. Death was due to natural causes.
   She was born Nov. 9, 1966, in Coldwater, to Thomas and Mary Bomholt Kremer. They survive in St. Anthony. On Sept. 15, 1990, she married Tim Braun who survives.
   Also surviving are six brothers, Rick (Kate) Kremer, Ansonia, Roger (Nancy) Kremer, Montezuma, Kim (Jennifer) Kremer, Coldwater, Gary Kremer, Celina, Bob and John Kremer, both of St. Anthony; and a sister, Kay (Jeff) Grey, Fort Recovery.
   Other survivors include her father-in-law, Louis Braun, St. Henry; four brothers-in-law, Ernie Braun, St. Henry, Jerry (Mary) Braun, Joe (Tracy) Braun and Mike (Pam) Braun, all of Celina; and a sister-in-law, Mary (Glenn) Sellmer, Summerfield, N.C.
   Deceased are her mother-in-law, Sylvia Knapke Braun, and a brother-in-law, Louis Braun Jr.
   She was employed at Cooper Foods, St. Henry, and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Larry Wyen officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
   Contributions can be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.


Frances Breymier

Frances E. Breymier, 87, 117 E. Broadway St., Fort Recovery, died at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 1, 2004, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.
   Arrangements are pending at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.


Rex Dock

Rex Dock, 79, of Celina, died at 11:58 p.m. July 31, 2004, at his residence.
   He was born May 31, 1925, in Mercer County, to Ora R. and Lourie C. Rhodes Dock. On Aug. 14, 1948, he married Jean Plunkett who survives.
   Also surviving are four daughters, Julie Baumgartner, Coldwater, Linda (Beryl) McClure, Fairfield, Jeannie (Jim) Thobe, New Bremen, and Lisa (Ed Jr.) Jeffries, Celina; a brother, Eugene (Edna) of St. Paul, Minn.; a sister, Mary Katheryn Plunkett, Piqua; a sister-in-law, Alice Dock Barhorst, Piqua; six grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren, a great-granddaughter and a stepgreat-grandson.
   Deceased are two sons-in-law, Emil Baumgartner and David Cox, and two brothers, Dale and Jack.
   He was a retired heavy equipment operator who had worked in Fort Wayne, Ind., for many years. He served in the 6th Army Group during World War II.
   Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Verl W. Ballmer officiating. Burial will be at Swamp College Cemetery.
   Calling is after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice.


Dennis Kable

Dennis S. "Butch" Kable, 60, 503 E. Livingston St., Celina, died at 9:08 a.m. July 30, 2004, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes.
   He was born Feb. 8, 1944, to Robert and Grace McCann Kable who survive in Celina. On March 3, 1965, he married Linda Dailey who survives.
   Also surviving are two sons, Scott and Steve, both of Celina; a brother, John (Deb) of St. Marys; three sisters, Christina (Lou) Lobo, Escondido, Calif., Mary (Kip) Wright and Valerie (Randy) Muether, all of Celina; and two grandchildren.
   A brother, Robert, is deceased.
   He had been employed for 32 years at Huffy in Celina and spent the last five years as maintenance man at Greenland Estates in Coldwater. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Celina, and served in the U.S. Army's 32nd Infantry during the Vietnam War.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery with the American Legion and VFW posts conducting military rites.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.


Liberty Overley

Liberty Lauree Overley, 28, 125 W. Wayne St., Celina, formerly of Rockford, died Aug. 1, 2004, at her residence. Death was due to natural causes.
   She was born Aug. 2, 1975, in Van Wert, to Janet Overley who survives in Celina.
   A 1993 graduate of Parkway High School, she attended Indiana Purdue University in Fort Wayne and the Wright State University-Lake Campus in Celina. She was a member of Trinity Friends Church and performed with the Van Wert Area Marching Band and Masonic Fellowcraft Band, all of Van Wert.
   Services are 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Revs. Karen Long and Edward Jillson officiating. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the dialysis unit at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.


Virginia Waterman

Virginia L. Waterman, 86, 109 E. Oak St., Celina, died at 1 a.m. Aug. 1, 2004, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
   She was born July 21, 1918, in Celina. Her foster parents were Robert and Jenny Snavely. On Dec. 24, 1936, she married Philip W. Waterman who died Nov. 8, 1990.
   Surviving are a son, Larry (Judy) of Delmar, N.Y.; two daughters, Karen Jons and Vicki Waterman, both of Celina; a sister-in-law, Frances Kohn, Celina; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
   She retired from JCPenney after 25 years. A 1936 graduate of Celina High School, she was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Celina.
   Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the American Red Cross blood donor services or a charity of the donor's choice.


John Welch

John Welch, 58, 109 S. Main St., St. Marys, died July 31, 2004, at his residence.
   Arrangements are pending at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.


Bernice Snell

Services for Bernice M. Snell were 2 p.m. July 30, 2004, at the Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community chapel, the Rev. Carol Sainey officiated. Organist was Shirley Davies.
   Sons and grandsons served as pallbearers to North Grove Cemetery.
   Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, had charge of arrangements.
