Evelyn Luginbill Evelyn F. Luginbill, 80, 8605 N. Piqua Road, Decatur, Ind., died at 11:28 a.m. Aug. 9, 2004, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. She was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Adams County, Ind., to Samuel and Nora Frank Hamrick. On Nov. 7, 1942, she married Robert D. Luginbill who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Mike (Miriam) of Kankakee, Ill., Greg (Elaine) of Enon, and Jeff (Julie) of Decatur, Ind.; three daughters, Connie Wilson and Kathy (Randy) Reynolds, all of Decatur, and JoEllen (Gary) Lengerich, Berne, Ind.; four brothers, Charles Hamrick, Decatur, Clarence and Duane Hamrick, both of Willshire, and Paul Hamrick, Monroe, Ind.; two sisters, Norma (Lindy) Lybarger, North Manchester, Ind., and Carolyn (Tom) Baker, Celina; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. One brother, Victor Hamrick, is deceased. A homemaker, she served as board secretary at Decatur Church of the Nazarene for 35 years. She was a member of Mount Hope Church of God in Berne. Services are 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Berne church, the Rev. Greg Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Calling is 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, and after 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Contributions can be made to the Mount Hope Mission Fund. Paul Maxwell
Paul Maxwell Sr., 64, 1100 Myers Road, Apt. 7, Celina, died at 7:13 p.m. Aug. 8, 2004, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to natural causes. He was born June 10, 1940, in Pennsville, to Guy and Opal Thrasher Maxwell. Surviving are a son, Paul Jr., and two daughters, Angela and Paula, all of Nenwen, Ga.; and four grandchildren. A brother, Bob, and two sisters, Doris Olinzock and Joan Cordray, are deceased. He was a dump truck driver for Quality Ready Mix Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Celina. Private funeral services will be held. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys. |
