James Mullen James P. Mullin, 81, formerly of 135 Cherry St., St. Marys, died at 5:20 a.m. Sept. 29, 2004, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community. He was born Jan. 15, 1923, in Lima, to John and Nellie Shepler Mullen. On Oct. 11, 1943, he married Iona Janet Raymond who died July 20, 1996. Surviving are a nephew, Larry (Kang Sun) Borden, Pedro; and two nieces, JoAnn (Roger) Freeman, New Bremen, and Kathy (Bill) Metz, St. Marys. Deceased are a sister, Mary Borden, and a half brother, Orvale Ebersole. He retired as a letter carrier from the U.S. Postal Service. He also worked at Midwest Electric Cooperative and the former Clark Oil station in St. Marys and attended the First Church of God, also of St. Marys. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Charles Richtmyer officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. |
