Vlic Carbonell Vlic Carbonell, 67, 806-C, Blue Jacket Drive, Fort Recovery, died at 11:11 p.m. Oct. 3, 2004, at his home. He was born Aug. 1, 1937, in Cuba, to Jose and Dolores Benitez Carbonell. On July 19, 1957, he married Betty Reynolds who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Dolores (Ricky) Gooch, Henderson, Tenn., and Vicky (Jim) Lochtefeld, Union City, Ind.; a brother, Dr. Mels (Phyllis) of Georgia; a sister, Algy (Don) Edwards, also of Georgia; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was an operating engineer and a member of Local 369 Operating Engineers Union. There are no services or visitation. Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, has charge of arrangements. Virginia R. Moorman, 76, 5802 Wabash Road, Coldwater, died at 10:37 p.m. Oct. 4, 2004, at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born April 13, 1928, in Willowton, W. Va., to Dexter D. and Margaret Suttler Neely. On July 28, 1959, she married Donald E. Moorman who survives. Other survivors are a son, Tony (Patricia) Bailey, Roanoke, Va.; and a granddaughter. Deceased are a brother and a sister. She was a homemaker and member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Washington Township. Services are 2:30 p.m. Thursday at W.H. Viola E. Rawers, 86, formerly of South Main St., Minster, died at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 5, 2004, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She had been a patient at Springmeade Health Center, Tipp City. She was born May 22, 1918, in Minster, to Julius and Frances Frierott Sommer. On May 21, 1946, she married Harold W. Rawers who died Sept. 3, 1984. Survivors are a son, John (Sharon) of Troy; a daughter, Mary Jo (Mike) Koons, Vandalia; a sister-in-law, Joy Sommer, Minster; and six grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, Maurice Sommer. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Home Service Cleaners, Minster. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev.
