Marcella Dalk

Marcella Dalk, 98, of Coldwater, died early today, Oct. 18, 2004, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
   Arrangements are pending at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.


Ernest Williams

Ernest L. Williams, 89, 8089 Stose Road, Celina, died at 9:50 a.m. Oct. 17, 2004, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
   He was born Feb. 2, 1915, in Neptune, to Clarence and Edna Crowe Williams. In 1948, he married Mary Grimm who is deceased.
   Surviving are two sons, Ted (Cherie) and Steve (Sandy), all of Celina; three daughters, Louise (David) Gopperton, New Carlisle, Ruth (Calvin Jr.) Scott and Carol (Joe) Heyne, all of Celina; a sister, Margaret (Fred) Grimm, Celina; a sister-in-law, Lela Williams, Celina; and 12 grandchildren.
   A brother, Kenneth, is deceased.
   He was a farmer and a former teacher at Fort Recovery High School, where he also had been basketball scorekeeper. He was a member of Neptune Church of God, where he served as Sunday School superintendent, and the Celina American Legion Post. He had served in the Army Air Force during World War II.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Tim Clutter officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens with the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts conducting military rites.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
