Richard Grow

Richard Leo Grow, 29. 10202 Coletown-Lightsville Road, Ansonia, died the afternoon of Oct. 21, 2004, at his residence. The cause of death is under investigation.
   He was born Jan. 30, 1975, in Coldwater, to Richard and Kathleen Broerman Grow. Both live in Ansonia.
   Also surviving are a son, Andrew Charles; a daughter, Samantha Renee; a brother, Todd (Amanda), Ansonia; three sisters, Angela (T.J.) Perkins, Piqua, Jullian, Cleveland and Ashlee, Ansonia.
   He was employed at Rutchy Construction, North Star, and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sharpsburg.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Fort Loramie.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.


Martha Massing

Martha A. Massing, 80, 94 S. Main St., Minster, died at 6 a.m. Oct. 22, 2004, at her residence.
   She was born March 25, 1924, in Minster, to Frederick and Pauline Ortman Sommer. On Nov. 23, 1950, she married Bernard A. Massing, who died Jan. 2, 1999.
   Survivors are two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Sommer and Irene Sommer, both of Minster.
   She was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
   She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1391, both of Minster.
   Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
   Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice or the donors choice.


Sharon Muncher

Sharon A. Muncher, 61, 2100 Celina Road, St. Marys, died at 5:40 a.m. on Oct. 22 at Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys.
   She was born Aug. 2, 1943, in St. Marys, to Elmer and Mary (Stehr) Gibson. Her mother survives in St. Marys. She married George Muncher, who also survives.
   Also surviving are three daughters, Reba (Tim) Tippie, Sidney, Tammy (Sam) Paul, Celina, and Chris (Dan) Wicker, St. Marys; three sisters, Jackie Horn and Janet Doute, both of St. Marys, and Kay Rockwell, Spokane, Wash.
   She was a homemaker. She was a member of Eagles Lodge # 767, American Legion Post 323, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289, and Zion Lutheran Church, all in St. Marys.
   Services are 8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Long & Folk Funeral Home, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Private family burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
   Calling is 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.


Marcella Westgerdes

Marcella Westgerdes, 90, St. Henry, died Oct. 22 at the Gardens at St. Henry.
   Arrangements are pending at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
