Elsie Donauer Elsie Donauer, 89, 148 N. Frankfort St., Minster, died at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 25, 2004, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney. She was born Dec. 4, 1914, in Fort Loramie, to Henry and Margaret Hoying Albers. On Oct. 21, 1939, she married Robert Donauer who died Feb. 19, 1987. Surviving are two sons, Mike (Joan) of Tipp City and Jim (Susan) of Minster; a sister, Regina (Tony) Reis, Cincinnati; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Four brothers and four sisters are deceased. She retired from Post Printing Co. and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, both of Minster. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Nell Hines

Jesse Louis Nicodemus, 21, of Bradford, formerly of Covington, died Oct. 22, 2004, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Death was due to injuries sustained in a Darke County traffic accident. He was born April 26, 1983, in Daytona Beach, Fla., to Scott L. and Loree Caroline Zumberge Nicodemus. They survive in Covington. Also surviving are his wife, the former Debra M. McDonald, of Bradford; a daughter, Celine Marie, at home; the grandparents, Wilma Jean Nicodemus, Bradford, and John and Virginia Zumberge, Celina; his mother-in-law, Yvonna Wilson, Gettysburg; his father-in-law, David McDonald, Georgia; and a brother-in-law, Matthew (Missy) McDonald, Maine. Deceased are a twin brother, John Ross Nicodemus, and a grandfather, Ronald Nicodemus. He worked at The Dannon Co. in Minster and formerly worked at Steak 'N Shake in Troy, Area Electric in Sidney and Cracker Barrel and Evenflo, both of Piqua. A 2002 graduate of Covington High School, he attended Upper Valley Joint Vocational School in Piqua and was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Covington. He had worked four years at the Covington swimming pool and formerly participated in Scouts and soccer, serving two years as team captain. Funeral Mass was 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Revs. James Simons and James Duell officiated. Burial followed at Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford. Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington, had charge of arrangements. Contributions can be made to the Celine Nicodemus Trust Fund. Robert Winget
