Mary Baughman Mary L. Baughman, 75, formerly of St. Marys, died at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 3, 2004, at her residence in Dublin. Arrangements are pending at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. William Jarrett Sr.
William A. Jarrett Sr., 76, 720 Echo St., Celina, died at 5:40 p.m. Nov. 2, 2004, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. He was born June 30, 1928, in Washington Court House, to William and Leora Flint Jarrett. His first wife, Nellie Jane Butcher, died April 12, 1960. On May 7, 1961, he married Martha Schaffner who survives. Also surviving are five sons, William Jarrett Jr., Celina, James (Loa Jane) Jarrett, Delta, Robert (Melody) Jarrett, Washington Court House, Stevan Jarrett, Miamisburg, and Kenneth Baylog, California; five daughters, Connie (Mike) Adams, Rebecca (Ron) Fetters, Angela (Gary) Howard and Lori Miller, all of Celina, and Deborah (Steve) Garman, Elizabethtown, Ky.; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He had retired as supervisor at Huffy's and also worked as janitor at Immaculate Conception School and at Tom's Installation Co. He attended Victory Church and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie and the Loyal Order of the Moose, serving as past Legion commander, past Moose governor and past Eagles trustee. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, the Rev, Kenneth Whetstone officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens. Calling is 3-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. |
