Marcella Carr

Marcella Carr, 86, of 622 Devonshire Drive, Celina, died at 10:36 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
   She was born Oct. 16, 1918, in Coalton, to Hillborn and Cornie McWilliams Dixon. In 1951, she married Vernon Hull, who died in 1955. On Sept. 9, 1967, she married Byron Carr, who died on March 1, 1995.
   Survivors include a son, Kenneth L., of Glastonbury, Conn.; a daughter, Karen (Gary) Hays, of Celina; a brother, Addison Dixon, of Dearborn, Mich.; a sister, Carrie MacCracken, of Long Beach, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
   She is preceded in death by four sisters, Bernice Harrison, Dorothy Vernon, Louise Paul and Mildred Worrall; and two brothers, Paul and Raymond Dixon.
   A graduate of Ames-Bern High School and Lillian School of Cosmetology in Columbus, she retired from Lima Memorial Hospital and was owner of Marcella's Beauty Salon, Lima.
   Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, with the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery, New Hampshire.
   Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.


June Schultz

June G. Schultz, 94, of 120 N. Perry Street, St. Marys, died at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at St. Marys Living Center.
   She was born June 19, 1910, in St. Marys, to Rufus and Bertha Price Gorham. Husbands Glen J. Steve and Howard W. Schultz are deceased.
   Survivors include two step-sons, Charles (Evelyn) Schultz of Reno, and Joe (Kathy) Schultz of Columbus; a step-daughter, Evelyn Schultz-Horner, of St. Louis; a sister-in-law, Carolyn (Dr. Thomas) Hudson of St. Marys; and a step-granddaughter.
   She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Margaret Dammeyer.
   A member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, she was a 1928 graduate of Memorial High School and a member of the Music Club and Shakespeare Club, all of St. Marys. In 1933, she graduated from Western College for Women in Oxford. She also worked as executive secretary for the Ohio State University music department chairperson, in Columbus.
   Services are at 1 p.m. Sunday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Rev. Patricia Minnick officiating. Private burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
   Visitation is one hour prior to services Sunday.
