Osie Beougher Osie Jane Beougher, 95, of Celina, died at 10:22 p.m. Dec. 8, 2004, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.

Marita Elking Brockman
Marita E. Elking Brockman, 76, 481 E. Kremer-Hoying Road, St. Henry, died at 3:24 p.m. Dec. 8, 2004, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born Nov. 1, 1928, in Chickasaw, to George and Anna Eyink Bruns. On Sept. 4, 1948, she married Edwin J. Elking who died March 19, 1989. On April 15, 1994, she married Warren Brockman who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Nick (Deb) Elking, Burkettsville, Frank (Barb) Elking, Coldwater, and Ronald (Angie) Elking, St. Henry; four daughters, Margie (Jim) Cogan, Columbus, Virginia (Eric) Bennett, Celina, Linda (Bob) Nerderman, St. Henry, and Judy (Jay) Pavolko, Grand Ledge, Mich.; and three stepdaughters, Ann (Marvin) Selhorst, Wapakoneta, Mary (Ted) Beckman, Minster, and Jane (Virgil) Bertke, St. Marys.
Other survivors include two brothers, Ralph (Roselyn) Bruns and Lester (Joannie) Bruns, all of St. Henry; a sister, Dorothy (Dennis) Bills, St. Henry; two sisters-in-law, Jean Bruns, Chickasaw, and Joan Bruns, Coldwater; 21 grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild.
A daughter, Bonnie Elking, and two brothers, Ivo and Donald Bruns, are deceased.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, Altar-Rosary Sodality and the American Legion Auxiliary, all of St. Henry.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry. |
