Nancy Moody

Nancy Bea "Nan" Moody, 65, 401 W. Koch St., Ohio City, died at 6:15 a.m. Dec. 15, 2004, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
   She was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Van Wert, to Harold William and Joyce Elaine Yahn Sidle. On March 12, 1955, she married Robert D. Moody who survives.
   Also surviving are a son, Timothy D. (Marcia) of Ohio City; two daughters, Julie (Tracy) Strous, Kenton, and Gwyn of Bellbrook; a brother, Bart (Betty) of Ohio City; two sisters, Jean Ann (Ronald) Krugh and Wendy Hoersten, all of Ohio City; four grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
   She had been employed at North American Philips Lighting, Van Wert. She also owned and operated Moody's Barn in Ohio City and displayed at the Van Wert County Fair for 18 years. She attended Ohio City-Liberty High School and was a member of Ohio City United Methodist Church.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Mike Waldron officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
   Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to Ohio City Youth Activities.
