Bruce Schmitz

Coldwater native Bruce K. Schmitz, 20, of Union City, Ind., died Dec. 15, 2004, at his residence, the victim of an apparent suicide.
   He was born May 3, 1984, in Coldwater, to Kenneth and Jean Davenport Schmitz. His father survives in New Weston and his mother in Tipp City.
   Also surviving are a brother, Michael (Christie) of New Bremen; two sisters, Charlene of New Bremen and Stacy of New Weston; and the grandparents, Ralph and Alvera Schmitz, New Weston.
   Deceased are grandparents Charles and Margaret Davenport.
   He was a 2003 graduate of Mississinawa High School.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Ed Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Shook Cemetery, New Weston.
   Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.


Sarah Tuttle

Sarah A. Tuttle, 7, 322 Main St., Mendon, died Dec. 15, 2004, at Children's Medical Center in Dayton. Death was due to complications of cancer.
   She was born Feb. 25, 1997, in Lima, to Shawn and Kathern Lauth Tuttle. They survive in Mendon.
   Also surviving are a brother, Wyatt, at home; and the grandparents, Ray Lauth, St. Marys, and Joe and Shirley Remaklus, Rossburg.
   She was a first-grade student at Parkway Elementary School.
   Private services for the family are 2 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. William Maki officiating. A private burial will he held.
