Caryl Bruetsch Caryl Ann Bruetsch, 61, of New Bremen, formerly of Dayton, died Jan. 3, 2005, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes. She was born Sept. 5, 1943, in Dayton, to Charles and Edna Bruetsch. There are no survivors. She worked seven years at Phlaum Publishers Inc. and 33 years at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton. A 1964 graduate of Belmont High School, she was a member of the Dayton Association of the Deaf Club and the Ladies Euchre Club, and a bowling league participant for 45 years. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek, the Rev. Larry Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton. Evelyn Catherine Wint-Kaucher, 93, formerly of Emerald Drive, Coldwater, died at 3 a.m. Jan. 4, 2005, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater. She was born Nov. 15, 1911, in Coldwater, to Frank and Frances Stegeman Wenning. She married Joseph Wint in 1930 and later married Ben Kaucher in 1995. Both are deceased. Surviving are a son, Robert (Mary Jane) Wint, White Lake, Mich.; two brothers, Paul (Cam) Wenning and Francis (Linda) Wenning, all of Coldwater; two sisters, Lillian Dues and Lucille Ontrop, both of Coldwater; a sister-in-law, Margaret Wenning, Coldwater; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son and daughter-in-law, William and Mary Duane Wint; another son and a daughter in infancy; and a brother, Lester Wenning. She retired as an office worker at New Idea in Coldwater after 28 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, also of Coldwater. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Paul F. Meadows, 65, 915 Parkway Drive, St. Marys, died at 6:25 p.m. Jan. 2, 2005, at his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1939, in Floyd County, Ky., to Kenard Meadows and Anna Mae Meadows Sanford. On Aug. 18, 1969, he married Elizabeth L. Turley who survives. Also surviving are a son, Paul of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Angel (Don) Ring, St. Marys, and Christine of Wapakoneta; a brother, Rick Sanford, St. Marys; four sisters, Stella Kohli, Joan Meadows and Sundina Wuebbenhorst, all of St. Marys, and Susie (Art) Corwin, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a grandson. Deceased are a son, Robert Humphrey, and a stepfather, A.J. Sanford. He was the retired manager of a Tulsa, Okla., parking garage. Franklin Junior Muter, 73, 6480 Erastus-Durbin Road, Celina, died Jan. 4, 2005, at his home. He was born Aug. 1, 1931, in Celina, to Frank and Ida Emans Muter. On Aug. 11, 1948, he married Dorothy M. Runkel who died March 4, 2001. Surviving are two daughters, Melinda (Bruce) Hammond, Celina, and Patricia (Larry) Berron, Coldwater; a sister, Doris Behm, Celina; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his companion, Margaret Roebuck, Celina. Deceased are a son, Franklin W.; and three brothers, Dwight Eugene and Verl W. Muter and Lynn V. Soule. He retired from Mersman's and attended Mount Carmel Church of God, both of Celina. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Mark Wakeland officiating. Burial will follow at Macedon Cemetery.
