Dewey Hamblin Dewey A. Hamblin, 55, 1320 W. Market St., Celina, died at 9:15 p.m. Jan. 12, 2005, at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford. Hamblin was seriously injured Sept. 19, when he fell from scaffolding while painting a house in Rockford. He was born Aug. 24, 1949, in Clairfield, Tenn., to Ancil and Minnie King Hamblin. His mother survives in Clairfield. On Nov. 20, 1969, he married Mary Ann Spain who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Nichole and Shawn Ann, both of Celina; two brothers, Manuel (Clara) of La Follette, Tenn., and A.J. (Karla) of Celina; and six sisters, Loretta Sweet, Middlesborough, Tenn., Edna of Jellico, Tenn., Alphie (Hershal) Sowders, Celina, Clydia June and Diane, both of Clearfield, and Irene (J.L.) Hatfield, Duff, Tenn. A brother, W.C., is deceased. He was employed at The Daily Standard for 18 years and attended the Church of God. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. John Mobley officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery. Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cassella native Louis E. Schoenherr, 69, of Orem, Utah, died Jan. 9, 2005, at his home. He was born Sept. 7, 1935, in Cassella, to Aloys and Cleopha Boeke Schoenherr. Surviving with his wife, the former Roberta Bayman of St. Marys, are two daughters, Robin and Michelle; a son, Louis Jr.; three brothers, Joseph (Joan) of St. Peter, Vincent (Margie) of St. Joe, and Roman (Roseann) of St. Paul, Minn.; three sisters, Imelda Heckman, Maria Stein, Irene Fullenkamp, Portland, Ind., and RoseAnn (Richard) Post, Celina; and four grandchildren. Two brothers, Alvin and Victor, and a sister, Anna Marie Post, are deceased. Memorial services will be held later in Orem. Donald Unrast
Donald B. Unrast, 70, 5836 state Route 119, St. Henry, died at 4 a.m. today, Jan. 13, 2005, at his home. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Henry Catholic Church.
