Freda Knapke

Freda F. Knapke, formerly of 1139 Teaberry Lane, Celina, and a Gardens of Celina resident, died at 3:10 p.m. Feb. 15, 2005, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
   She was born Aug. 23, 1917, in Montezuma, to Raymond and Dora Lacy Frank. Her husband, Ernest M. Knapke, is deceased.
   Surviving are three sons, David (Susan) of Sidney, Mark (Christine) of Coldwater, and Thomas (Karen) of Celina; two daughters, Shirley (Bill) Powell, Portland, Ind., and Carol Calloway, Ocala, Fla.; a brother, Gene Frank, St. Marys; 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son-in-law, Scott Calloway, and a sister, Dorothy Andrews.
   She attended Grace Missionary Church, Celina, and was a homemaker.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, Pastor Tom Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Webster Long

Webster L. Long, 74, 411 N. Pine St., St. Marys, died at 6:10 p.m. Feb. 15, 2005, at his home.
   He was born Nov. 25, 1930, in St. Marys, to Webster and Lela Drake Long. On May 12, 1956, he married Frances Marie Mertz who survives.
   Also surviving are three sons, Allen, Anthony (Valerie) and James (Stephanie), all of St. Marys; a daughter, Lela (Danny) Dudgeon, Wapakoneta; a brother, Charles of St. Marys; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Joyce; a sister, Goldie Mae; and a grandson.
   He retired as a press operator from Parker-Hannifin Corp., St. Marys, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 767, all of St. Marys.
   Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
