Josephine Cameron

Mendon native Josephine Ruth Cameron, 93, of Liberty Center, died March 28, 2005, at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
   She was born March 25, 1912, in Mendon, to Frank and Kitty Markwith Davis. On Feb. 19, 1929, she married Lawrence M. Cameron who died March 9, 1976.
   She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
   Deceased are two brothers, Sam and Jack Davis, and two sisters, Elaine Severns and Isalena Hesse Shimp.
   She retired in 1964 as a floor lady at the D.W.G. Cigar Corporation, Findlay, and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Liberty Center.
   Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, the Rev. Jeffrey Stone officiating. Burial is at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
   Calling is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the church.


Antoinette DeMange

Maria Stein native Antoinette "Toni" M. DeMange, 89, of Vandalia, died March 27, 2005, at Hospice of Dayton.
   She was born Nov. 1, 1915, in Maria Stein, to Anthony and Catherine Albers Selhorst. Her husband, Hubert DeMange, died in 1993.
   Survivors are two sons, John (Kathy) of Dayton, and James (Peggy) of Florida; four daughters, Mary Ann (Jerry) Boeckman, and Betty Hall, all of Dayton, Barbara (Jack) Rowlands, Englewood, and Linda (Ron) Schmit, Vandalia; 17 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are two brothers, Joseph and Rev. Al Selhorst; four sisters, Clementine, Mary, Verona and Rita; a daughter-in-law, Cindy; and a son-in-law, Ron Hall.
   She worked for AAA for 17 years and was a member of St. Christopher parish, Vandalia, and St. Rita Catholic Church, Dayton, and its Ladies Rosary Alter Society. She also was a Girl Scout leader.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Dayton church, following prayers at 10 a.m. at George C. Martin Funeral Home, Northridge Chapel, Dayton. Burial is at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to St. Vincent DePaul or Hospice of Dayton.


Kathryn Egger

Rockford native Kathryn Delores "Kate" Egger, 88, of Medway, died March 26, 2005, at Dayspring Health Care Center and Rehabilitation, Fairborn.
   She was born March 31, 1916, in Rockford, to Grover Cleveland and Ethel Streete Graham. Her husband, Luther Egger, is deceased.
   Surviving are two sons, Doug (Lynn) of Bradenton, Fla., and Terry (Carol) of Huber Heights; a foster daughter, Ruth Larson, Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, DeWaine Graham, Holland; two sisters, Marjorie Carver, Monroe, Ind., and Virginia Zizelman, Celina; three grandchildren and and a great-grandchild.
   Deceased are two brothers, Eugene and James Graham, and a sister, Mary Gecowets Cook.
   She was a Rockford High School graduate and a member of Donnelsville Lutheran Church, Donnelsville.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trostel, Chapman & Christmas Funeral Home, New Carlisle. Burial will follow at Medway Cemetery.
   Calling is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.


Lowell Figley

Lowell Figley, 87, formerly of St. Marys, died early today, March 29, 2005, at Colonial Nursing Home, Rockford.
   Arrangements are pending at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.


Clay Lewis Jr.

Clay Tom Lewis Jr., 56, 3004 Redbud Trail, Sherman, Texas, died March 19, 2005, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Texas.
   He was born July 22, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Clay Sr. and Kathryn Leslie Lewis. On June 12, 1982, he married the former Carol Eyink of Coldwater who survives.
   Also surviving are a son, Zack; a daughter, Kay Leigh; a brother, David (Diane) of Dallas, Texas; his mother-in-law, Rita Eyink, Coldwater; two brothers-in-law, Bob (Karen) Eyink, Augusta, Ga., and Jim (Patti) Eyink, Coldwater; and four sisters-in-law, Kay (John) Varvaro, Houston, Texas, Deb (Gary) Griesdorn, Coldwater, Teresa (Bobby) Poulios, Thessalonica, Greece, and Pam (Mike) Hahlen, Columbus.
   His father-in-law, Edgar Eyink, is deceased.
   He worked 26 years as a certified public accountant in Sherman and served as past board member of the Sherman Boys and Girls Club and director of the Sherman Housing Authority and Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Kiwanis Club, also of Sherman, a volunteer with Sherman Boy Scout Troop 15 and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
   Funeral Mass was March 23, 2005, at the church, the Rev . Jeremy Myers officiated. Burial with military honors followed at the church cemetery.
   Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, had charge of arrangements.
   Contributions can be made to Habitat for Humanity or the church building fund.


Eloise Morrow

Eloise O. Morrow, 80, 2322 Woodside Way, Kissimmee, Fla., died March 16, 2005, at a hospital in Kissimmee.
   She was born Dec. 21, 1924, in Rockford, to Rudolf and Emma Frahm. She was married to James D. Morrow, who survives.
   Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Judith), Brick, N.J., Thomas A. (Pamela), Garland, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Winifred Keister, Celina, Joanne Witges, Illinois; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   Deceased is one brother, Earl Frahm, and one brother-in-law, Richard Morrow.
   She was a graduate of Celina High School and majored in piano at the St. Louis Institute of Music. She taught piano in her home for 30 years and was involved with the family farm.
   Services are 11 a.m. April 4 at St. John Hopewell Lutheran Church, rural Celina.
   Calling is 10-11 a.m. April 4 at the church.


Martha Oldiges

Martha J. Oldiges, 86, 146 S. Lincoln St., Minster, died at 4:35 p.m. March 28, 2005, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
   She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Quincy, to Ernest and Goldie McMaster Doak. On July 16, 1939, she married Wallace J. Oldiges who died Nov. 29, 2004.
   Surviving are two daughters, Carol (Donald) Ruese, New Bremen, and Rebecca (Pat) Martin, Piqua; a brother, Charles Robert Doak, Sidney; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
   She was a homemaker who had worked as a reporter for The Sidney Daily News during World War II. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 1391, both of Minster, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, St. Marys.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:30 p.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
   Contributions can be made to the Minster Area Life Squad or Minster-Jackson Township Fire Department.


Juanita Sibert

Celina native Juanita M. Sibert, 88, 17777 state Route 47 East, Sidney, died March 28, 2005, at Fair Haven Shelby County Home, Sidney.
   She was born Sept. 6, 1916, in Celina, to William and Florence Hone Kendall. On March 28, 1934, she married William A. Sibert who survives.
   Also surviving are a son, Robert L. (Ruby) of Sidney; a half brother, Dallas Felver, Troy; and four grandchildren.
   A brother, Ben Kendall, is deceased.
   She was a homemaker.
   Graveside services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson, the Rev. Joe F. Pumphrey officiating.
   Calling is after 10 a.m. Thursday at Cromes Funeral Home, Sidney.
   Contributions can be made to Wilson Hospice Care.
