Dorothy Tatum Celina native Dorothy "Dottie" Tatum, 82, died March 25, 2005 at her residence in San Marcos, Tex. She was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Celina, to Carl and Sylvia Rhodes Roettger. In 1946, she married Isham Tatum, who died in 1974. Surviving are two daughters: Nancy Cardin, Cabool, Mo., Mary Ann, Dale, Texas.; and a grandson. She was a 1940 graduate of Celina High School and taught school many years in Texas and North Carolina. Private services were held in Texas. Edmund "Skip" Webster, 78, 14695 Schmitmeyer Baker Rd., Minster, died at 10:40 p.m. March 30, 2005, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born Dec. 11, 1926 in Detroit, Mich., to Gordon and Dorothy Click Webster. On Feb. 11, 1950, he married Norma J. Placke, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Dennis (Jeannie), Phoenix, Ariz., Douglas (Debra), St. Marys, Robin (Amy), New Bremen and Brian (Lori), Piqua; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Deceased is one grandchild. An employee of Minster Machine Co., he retired after 40 years service. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Marys American Legion Post 323 and Fraternal Order of Eagles 1391 in Minster. He also was a World War II veteran having served in Europe. Service is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 323. Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
