Creva Bollenbacher

Mercer County native Creva F. Bollenbacher, 92, 6471 E. 1000 S., Geneva, Ind., died at 7:30 p.m. April 7, 2004, at Swiss Village Retirement Center, Berne, Ind.
   She was born June 17, 1912, in Mercer County, to Charles A. and Nellie McGough Branstetter. On Oct. 26, 1929, she married Vernon Bollenbacher who survives.
   Also surviving are three brothers, Richard Branstetter, Geneva, Charles Branstetter Jr., Lakeland, Fla., and Lester Branstetter, Decatur, Ind; three sisters, Freda Bryie, Fort Wayne, Ind., Delores Caffee and Betty Haviland, both of Geneva; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son, Paul; two brothers, Argyle and Chester Branstetter; and five sisters, Thelma Tester, Hazel Granger, Wilma Geade, Erma Miller and Garni Bollenbacher.
   She attended Blackcreek Township School and was a member of Landfair United Methodist Church, Celina.
   Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva, Pastor Paul Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery near Celina.
   Calling is 3-6 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the church.
