Eugenia Borger

Eugenia M. Borger, 83, formerly of 422 E. Main St., St. Henry, died at 11 p.m. April 10, 2005, at The Gardens of St. Henry.
   The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the St. Henry Catholic Church. Calling will be from 2 -8 p.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.

Corwin Hellwarth

Corwin Hellwarth, 92, of Celina, died April 10, 2005, at Laurels of Massillon, in Massillon.
   Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina. Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.

Elmer Siefring

Elmer J. Siefring, 75, of 4015 Darke-Mercer County Line Road, Fort Recovery, died at 2:15 a.m. April 9, 2005, at his residence.
   He was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Burkettsville, to Henry and Agnes Reier Siefring. On June 17, 1959, he married Rita F. Mescher, who survives.
   Other survivors include three sons, Chris of Burkettsville; Luke (Peggy) and Michael (Angie), both of New Weston; five daughters, Diane (Jeff) Schultze, Fort Loramie, Lisa (Rick) Schultze, Willowdell, Sarah (Troy) Flenar, St. Henry; Rosann (Harold) Phlipot and Mary (Ron) Gehret, both of Versailles; two brothers. Cyril (Romilda), and Herbert (Irene), both of New Weston; eight sisters, Alfreda Rose, St. Henry, Esther Evers Wuebker and Mary (Hubert) Liette, both of Burkettsville; Lucille (Leon) Kramer. Celina, Mildred Mendenhall, Coldwater, Jeanette (Paul) Lenhartz, St. Marys, Virginia (Robert) Schafer, St. Anthony, and Eulalia Zumberger, of Anna; a sister-in-law, Hilda Siefring, Burkettsville; and 20 grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by a brother, Aloys; a sister, Florentine Siefring; and five brothers-in-law, Walter Evers, Victor Wuebker, Ralph Rose, Ronald Mendenhall and John Zumberger.
   He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, and the Men's Society of the parish. A lifelong farmer, he was a member of the Darke County Farm Bureau.
   Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Larry Wyen officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
   Calling is from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
   Memorials can go to the Center for Neurological Development, or State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice.


Walter Sudhoff

Walter F. Sudhoff, 79, 4842 state Route 49, Fort Recovery, died at 1 a.m. April 11, 2005, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
   Arrangements are pending at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.


Lorene Wilson

Lorene Wilson, 92, formerly of 529 N. Walnut St., Celina, died April 9, 2005, at Falling Water Health Care Center, in Strongsville.
   She was born June 30, 1912, in Beaver Dam, KY., to Newton and Louise Coy Embry. On Sept. 24, 1927, she married Joseph Clarence Wilson, who died Sept. 12, 1993.
   Survivors include a son, Kenneth (Lorene) of Leitschfield, KY.; a daughter, Faye (Gerald) Chrisman, Celina; a sister-in-law Evelyn Embry, of Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by two brothers, Welby and Wavie Embry; and a sister-in-law, Ann Embry.
   A member of New Life Christian Center, Celina, she had been a laborer, working at Deom Enrows Shirt Company.
   Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, with the Revs. Jerry Westerfield and Gary King officiating. Burial will be Thursday at Sunny Side Cemetery in Beaver Dam, KY., where a graveside service will be held at 2 p.m.
   Calling is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.


Merlin Winer

Merlin C. Winer, 95, of 1202 Nagel St., St. Marys, died at 7:30 a.m. April 10, 2005, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
   He was born Oct. 1, 1909, near Carrington, N.D., to Henry and B. Pearl Kirkpatrick Winer. On March 24, 1940, he married Almalea Sweigart, who survives.
   Other survivors include two nephews.
   Deceased are a son, Ron, and a brother, James.
   A member of Grace Missionary Church, Celina, he retired from Midwest Electric as a meter repairman. He was also a member of the former E.U.B. in St. Marys and co-founder of Old-fashioned Farmers Association.
   Services are at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Steve Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
   Calling is from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
   Memorial contributions can be directed to the church.
