Charles Boatright

Charles Dale Boatright, 56, of Celina, died from a sudden illness April 22, 2005, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
   He was born Feb. 23, 1949, in Middlesboro, Ky., to Joseph and Rita Sutton Boatright. His mother survives in Celina. In June of 1986 he married Vicki Sickles who survives.
   Other survivors are a son, Jody of Celina; two brothers, Paul (Gerald) of Middlesboro, and Jack (Jackie) of St. Marys; three sisters, Kathline (Gerald) Bauers, Margie (Terry) Garwood, and Regina (Tony) Faurot, all of Celina; and two grandchildren.
   He retired from the Ford Motor Company's engine plant in Lima, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles lodge in Celina, and Masonic lodge in Wapakoneta.
   Private services will be held for the family. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is 6-8 p.m. Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina.
   Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.


Lyle Hamilton

Lyle Frederick Hamilton, 88, 5850 Morrow Road, Celina, died at 5:26 p.m. April 21, 2005, at The Gardens at Celina.
   He was born Sept. 5, 1916, in Mendon, to Edgar and Flossie Baker Hamilton. On June 3, 1944, he married Lucille Houts who died May 26, 1998.
   Surviving are a son, Gary (Patricia) of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a daughter, Janis (Leslie) Lasater, Portland, Tenn.; a sister, Ruth Houts Turner, Celina; and two grandchildren.
   Deceased is a brother, Willard Hamilton.
   He was a retired farmer and member of Celina First Church of God. He was a 1935 graduate of the former Mendon-Union High School.
   Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard VanHorn officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, and 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
   Contributions can be made to the church memorial fund or State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice.


David Seitz

David W. Seitz, 66, 808 Westview Drive, Coldwater, died at 3:45 p.m. April 21, 2005, at his home due to an extended illness.
   He was born Aug. 7, 1938, in St. Rose, to Charles and Estella Westerheide Seitz. On Sept. 2, 1961, he married Irene R. Wolters who survives.
   Other survivors are three sons, Gary (Becky) of Springfield, and Douglas (Virginia) and Michael (Jennifer), all of Coldwater; a daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Metzger, Fort Recovery; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann of Coldwater, and Rosie of Montezuma; and 12 grandchildren.
   Deceased is a daughter, Jodi; and two brothers, Daniel and Carl.
   He was a supervisor at the former New Idea plant in Coldwater, and had worked at Pax Machine, Celina. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and Sons of the American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles and a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, all of Coldwater.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
   Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice.
