Michael Baumgartner Michael James Baumgartner, 56, 6940 East 58th, Kansas City, Mo., died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. He was born in Decatur, Ind. May 5, 1949 to Logan Samuel and Fayola Pickett Baumgartner. His father is deceased and his mother survives in Berne, Ind. Also surviving is a daughter, Tova Baumgartner, Geneva, Ind.; two brothers, David (Phyllis) Baumgartner, Waco, Texas; and Phillip (Judy Baumgartner, Perrysville; three step-sons, James Sackuvich III, Ronald Sackuvich and Robert Sackuvich, all of Kansas City; and five grandchildren. He worked as an occupation bio med technician for Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. He belonged to the Strothers Free Trappers Club and National Muzzle Loaders Association. Services will be held Monday at 12 noon in the Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva, Ind. The Rev. Wayne Steury will officiate and burial will follow in the M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne, Ind. Jeremy L. Miller, 17, 213 E. Lake Road Apt. 4, Geneva, Ind., died Thursday, May 12, 2005, of injuries received in a farming accident at Ridgeville Corners, OH. He was born Nov. 7, 1987 in Wells County, Ind., to Randy Hough and Angela Miller, who both survive in Geneva. Also surviving are three brothers, Nicholas (A.J.) Clemons, Geneva; Randy Burns, Bluffton, Ind. and Jimmy Hough, Geneva; a sister, Shelby Hough, Geneva; maternal grandparents Dan and Debbie Richardson, Keystone, Ind. and paternal grandparents, John and Judy Hough Bryant, Ind. A maternal grandfather, Gary Miller, preceded him in death. He was home-schooled and was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, Geneva. He had worked for Mega Farms in Ridgeville Corners. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Geneva. |
