E.E. Fetters E.E. "Tex" Fetters, 71, of Greenville, died May 26, 2005, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. He was born April 3, 1934, in Germantown, to Floyd F. and Marjorie Dels Fetters. Surviving with his wife, the former Nancy L. Marker, are two sons, Jeff Fetters, Celina, and Tom Hodges, California; three daughters, Carol Fetters, Greenville, Felicia Fetters and Marcia Hodges, both of Celina; three brothers, Ray Martin, Little Rock, Ark., Cecil Fetters, New York, N.Y., and Jerry Fetters, Dayton; a sister, Pete Neil, South Bend, Ind.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had been employed as a carpet layer for more than 50 years and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Union City. Services are 8 p.m. Tuesday at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville. Jean A. Gephart, 62, 1202 Fairway Ave., Union City, Tenn., formerly of St. Marys and Celina, died May 23, 2005, in the emergency department at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney. She was born April 24, 1943, in New Bremen, to Linus and Hilda Lange Wilker. On Jan. 10, 1984, she married Richard L. Gephart who survives. Also surviving are a son, Jeff (Denys) Slife, Anna; two daughters, Julie (Raymond) Bigelow, St. Marys, and Nikki Barger, New Carlisle; a stepson, Scott Gephart, Delphos; two stepdaughters, Betsy (Todd) Bollenbacher and Stefanie, all of Rockford; two stepbrothers, Steve and Jim Mackenbach, both of St. Marys; seven grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren. Deceased are two daughters, Kelly Slife and Kimberly Chaney; a grandson and a sister, Lou Ann Henning. She had worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, and retired from the Goodyear plant in Union City. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Union City. Rita Rose Jutte, 80, 3233 Siegrist-Jutte Road, Coldwater, died at 7:35 a.m. May 26, 2005, at Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 7, 1924, in Maria Stein, to Frederick J. and Frances Haselman Wendeln. On Jan. 22, 1948, she married Paul J. Jutte who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Thomas (Mary) of Celina, James (Mary) of St. Henry, Daniel (Grace) of Fort Recovery, and David of Coldwater; a daughter, Rebecca (Paul) Bruns, Maria Stein; a daughter-in-law, Lois Baker, Celina; two brothers, Joseph (Marie) Wendeln, Minster, and Charles (Irma) Wendeln, Maria Stein; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Robert; three brothers, Eugene, Leo and Edward Wendeln; two sisters, Armella Bruns and Viola Franck; and a grandchild. She was a homemaker, a beautician and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and the Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality, both of Philothea. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Margie Mae Skromme, 78, 7440 state Route 703, Celina, died May 25, 2005, at her home of an apparent heart attack. She was born Oct. 8, 1926, in Seaford, Del., to Oscar and Pearl Johnson O'Neal. On June 16, 1948, she married Robert B. Skromme who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Allan of Boulder, Colo., Wayne of Leslie, Mich., and David of San Mateo, Calif.; two daughters, Janet McGill, St. Louis, Mo., and Linda Alders, Conifir, Calif.; a sister, Marydel Roosa, Wilmington, Del.; and nine grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, History Club, College Community Arts Council and Mercer County Genealogical Society, all of the Celina area. Lee Ann Snyder, 57, 4295 William Ave., Celina, died at 8 p.m. May 25, 2005, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to cancer. She was born April 29, 1948, in Canton, to Otis and Lelah Swager Naragon. Surviving is a sister, Chris Naragon, Canton. She was a music teacher at Parkway Local Schools and a member of the Ohio Valley Brishish Brass Band, Dayton, and the Lima Band.
