Irene Grisez

Irene Grisez, 83, 9015 Versailles-Southeastern Road, Versailles, died at 6 a.m. June 8, 2005, at her home.
   She was born Nov. 18, 1921, in Piqua, to Bert and Rose Robbins Vonderhyde. On Oct. 11, 1947, she married Elmer Grisez who died July 29, 1969.
   Surviving are two sons, Donald (Sally) of Houston and Melvin of Versailles; five sisters, Mary Leugers, Minster, Dorothy Hole, Celina, Katharine Bergman, Fort Recovery, Norma Wellman, Coldwater, and Elsie Winner, Montezuma; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son, Larry; two brothers, Bert and Rich Vonderhyde; and two sisters, Edna Siegle and Emma Hoelscher.
   She retired from Weaver Brothers in Versailles and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. John Porter officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
   Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice.


Mary Mansberger

Former New Bremen resident Mary Mansberger, 2 Franklin St., Mount Vernon, died June 6 in Mount Vernon.
   She was the wife of David Mansberger, former superintendent of the Auglaize County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.
   Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Sardis United Methodist Church, Sardis.
   Grissell Funeral Home, Sardis, has charge of arrangements.
