Mercer County native Johanna M. Keller, 69, 4714 W. 1150 S., Geneva, Ind., died June 15, 2005, at Adams County Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Ind. She was born Dec. 28, 1915, in Mercer County, to John and Elizabeth Koesters Jutte. Her husband, Wilbert Keller, died May 23, 1971. Surviving are three sons, Robert of Miamisburg, Carl (Phyllis) of Centerville, and Harold (Rikki) of Geneva; two brothers, Albert Jutte, St. Henry, and Johnny Jutte, Celina; two sisters, Mildred Knoth, St. Henry, and Frances Knapke, Coldwater; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Ralph and Alfred Jutte, and three sisters, Justine Bader, Tina Fiely and Loretta Braun. She was a farmer, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Portland, Ind., and the Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Maria Stein, and a former member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Cranberry Prairie. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Church, the Rev. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Odessa Klopfleisch, 87, 527 N. Cherry St., Celina, died June 16, 2005, at Miller House in Celina. She was born May 12, 1918, in Auglaize County, to Marion and Mary Huckemeyer Duncan. On April 19, 1941, she married Carl Klopfleisch who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Kim (Mary) of Botkins and Craig (Kay) of Celina; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, Basil Duncan, and three sisters, Lorine Dicke, Marguerite Vornholt and Ruth Lee. She had been a self employed hairdresser in Celina and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 210, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 91, the Democratic Committee, all of Celina, and the Hairdressers Association. She was a 1936 graduate of Troy Beauty School, Lima. Services are 1:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Jason Tyas officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens. Calling is 5-8 p.m. today at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, where an Eastern Star service is set for 7 p.m., and after 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. Joseph Zumberger
Joseph H. Zumberger, 89, 2901 Fair Road, Sidney, formerly of Jay County, Ind., died at 7:19 a.m. June 16, 2005, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney. He was born March 4, 1916, in McCartyville, to John and Anna Berning Zumberger. On Feb. 11, 1947, he married Emma Guggenbiller who died April 10, 1988. Surviving are three brothers, Leonard of Sidney, Albert (Wilma) and Urbarn (Marlene), all of Russia; two sisters, Irene Beatty, Dayton, and Doris Jean of Sidney; and two sisters-in-law, Terry Zumberger, Maplewood, and Eulalia Zumberger, Anna. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery. Calling is 3-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
