Joseph Zumberger Joseph H. Zumberger, 89, 2901 Fair Road, Sidney, formerly of Jay County, Ind., died at 7:19 a.m. June 16, 2005, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney.
He was born March 4, 1916, in McCartyville, to John and Anna Berning Zumberger. On Feb. 11, 1947, he married Emma Guggenbiller who died April 10, 1988.
Surviving are three brothers, Leonard of Sidney, Albert (Wilma) and Urban (Marlene), all of Versailles; two sisters, Irene Beatty, Dayton, and Doris Jean of Sidney; and two sisters-in-law, Terry Zumberger, Maplewood, and Eulalia Zumberger, Anna.
Deceased are two brothers, Leo and John; and a sister, Rose Stockstill.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. A prayer service will be held there at 4 p.m. Sunday. |
