Frances Baker

Frances F. Baker, 88, 3003 W. Cisco Road, Sidney, died June 19, 2005, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney.
   She was born May 10, 1917, in Shelby County, to Lloyd and Dema Buirley Martin. On Dec. 24, 1940, she married J. Herman Baker who died March 20, 1988.
   Surviving are two sons, Jon F. (Kay) and Steven A. (Peggy), all of Sidney; a daughter-in-law, Lois Baker, Celina; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son, Gary, and two brothers, Walter and Marlin Martin.
   She was a homemaker and a member of Springcreek Christian Church.
   Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Cromes Funeral Home, Sidney, the Rev. James Oates officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to Wilson Hospice Care or the Alzheimer's Association.


Eva Bolton

Eva Jean Bolton, 84, formerly of Ohio City, died at 8:55 p.m. June 19, 2005, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
   She was born Feb. 26, 1921, in Van Wert County, to Vernon Culp and Ida Belle McMillen Davis. On April 16, 1922, she married Edwin Richard Bolton who died June 21, 1997.
   Surviving are three sons, Richard W. (Shirley) of Elgin, Jerry D. (Janet) and Robert E. (Dottie), all of Van Wert; a daughter, Bonnie of Las Vegas, N. M.; six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
   A brother, Clifford Davis, and a sister, Theah Gertrude Lloyd, are deceased.
   She was a homemaker, a 1939 graduate of Middle Point High School, a former Sunday School teacher, a member of the Good News Club and the Gideons Auxiliary and a former member of Elgin United Brethren in Christ Church. She later attended Calvary Evangelical Church, Van Wert.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery near Mendon.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to Gideons International or Calvary Evangelical Church.


Edward Bruns

Edward F. Bruns, 58, 157 Virginia St., Chickasaw, died June 20, 2005, at the Versailles Health Care Center.
   Arrangements are pending at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
