John Barber

Services for former Celina resident John Robert "Bob" Barber, 61, of Mulberry, Fla., are 2 p.m. Sunday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Timothy Burden officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
   He died of cancer June 19, 2005, at his home.
   Calling is after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Polycystic Kidney Foundation.


Harold Bollenbacher

Harold J. Bollenbacher, 75, of Rockford, died at 2:50 p.m. July 4, 2005, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
   He was born Nov. 15, 1929, in Adams County, Ind., to Harold A. and Martha White Bollenbacher. On Feb. 10, 1951, he married Loella Friedly who survives.
   Also surviving are three daughters, Debra (Tom) Reichard, Fort Wayne, Ind., Peg of Van Wert, and Toni (Steve) Fisher, Rockford; two brothers, Robert and Tim, both of Rockford; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
   Two brothers, Jim and Randall, died in infancy.
   He retired from Reynolds & Reynolds, Celina, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Lions Club and Shanes Crossing Historical Club, all of Rockford.
   Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Mike Berne officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the church or Shanes Park.


Carl Copeland

Carl Copeland, 85, 2905 Hillcrest Drive, Celina, died at 8:30 p.m. July 6, 2005, at Colonial Nursing Home, Rockford.
   Arrangements are pending at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina.


Mary Hitchen

Mary Eileen Hitchen, 92, formerly of Wapakoneta and St. Marys, died at 6:37 a.m. July 6, 2005, at St. Marys Living Center.
   Arrangements are pending at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.


Helen Ragle

Helen Maxine Pruitt Ragle, 80, of Centerville, Ind., died July 4, 2005, at Pinehurst Village, Centerville.
   She was born May 24, 1925, in Williamsburg, Ind., to Ernest Drew and Blanche Pauline Jarrett Davis. Her first husband, Winford Pruitt died Sept. 8, 1976, and she later married James Ragle who also is deceased.
   Surviving are four sons, Jerry (Liz), Pruitt, William (Pam) Pruitt and John (Betty), Pruitt all of Centerville, Ind. ; a daughter, Carolyn Ramey, Richmond, Ind.; Tom and Gloria Pruitt, Celina, 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
   Three brothers and a sister are deceased.
   She was a homemaker and a private housekeeper.
   Graveside services were held today at Crown Hill Cemetery, Centerville, the Rev. Terry Cochran officiated.
   Mills Funeral Home, Centerville, had charge of arrangements.
   Contributions can be made to Pinehurst Village or Centerville Christian Church.


Clarence Buckloh

Services for Clarence Buckloh were 11 a.m. July 6, 2005, at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, Pastor John Rager and Pastor Michael Berne officiated. Organists were Carol Zimmerman and Betsy Rager.
   Pallbearers to Swamp College Cemetery were Jon Clouse, Tom Minton, Larry and Jim McDonough and Bruce and Andy Fent. Rockford American Legion Post 508 and Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713 conducted military graveside rites.
