Milton Brookhart Milton "Leon" Brookhart, 74, 121 N. Mill St., Celina, died at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 1, 2005, at The Gardens at Celina. He was born June 18, 1931, in Celina, to Lawrence and June Kerns Brookhart. On May 9, 1954, he married Marcieta Edmiston who survives. Also surviving are a son, Luke (Monica) of Versailles; a daughter, Valeri (Randy) Leistner, Celina; three brothers, Merl (Marge), Rex (Margie) and Bryce (Eileen), all of Celina; two sisters, Orpha (Roland) Hinton, Celina, and Emily (Tom) Osterholt, Portland, Ind.; his mother-in-law, Bertha Edmiston, Celina; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Two brothers, Gordon and Dane, are deceased. He retired from Midmark Corp. and Celina Moving & Storage. He was a 1949 graduate of Coldwater High School and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery. Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. The Rev. Paul Buehler, 86, St. Charles Center, Carthagena, died Aug. 2, 2005, at the center. Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Friday at St. Charles with burial to follow in the community cemetery. Calling is 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at St. Charles with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, has charge of arrangements. A complete obituary will appear in Thursday's paper.
