Mattie Brussell

Mattie Florence Brussell, 75, 70 S. Cleveland St., Minster, died at 10:12 a.m. Aug. 6, 2005, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
   She was born March 2, 1930, in Danville, Ky., to Arthur and Esther Head Arnold. On Jan. 18, 1948, she married James E. Brussell who survives.
   Also surviving are three sons, James (Rosemary) of Fort Loramie, Larry of Berne, Ind., and David (Darlene) of Minster; a brother, Lewis (Carolyn) Arnold, St. Louis, Mo.; a half brother, Jerry Arnold, Springfield, Ky.; three half sisters, Clara (Larry) Waldridge, Carolyn Arnold and Barbara Lyons, all of Boyle County, Ky.; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son, Jerry; a brother, William; a sister, Margaret; and a grandson.
   She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Chapel Independent Baptist Church, Minster.
   Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Pastor Greg Ewing officiating. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
   Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

Leah M. Kruse, 71, 10911 Knierim Road, New Knoxville, died at 7:15 p.m. Aug. 7, 2005, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.
   Arrangements are pending at Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville.
