Linda Hackney Linda L. Hackney, 55, 510 S. Wayne St., Fort Recovery, died at 9 a.m. Aug. 10, 2005, at her home following an extended illness. She was born July 5, 1950, in Dayton, to Marvin and Hilda Westgerdes Hackney. Surviving are two sisters, Becky (Robert) Klenke, Coldwater, and Pat (Daniel) Prosser, Fort Recovery; a half brother, Michael (Kitty) of Proctorville; and six nieces and nephews. She was apartment manager at Park Place in Grove City and a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Historical Society, both of Fort Recovery. A 1968 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, she attended Miami Jacobs Business College and Glamour Modeling School, both of Dayton. Memorial Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, St. Joe. Calling is 6-8 p.m. Friday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. A prayer service will be held there at 7:45 p.m. Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice and the Cancer Association of Mercer County. Kenneth Wurster
Kenneth V. Wurster, 90, a resident of the Mercer County Home, Celina, died at 4:15 p.m. Aug. 6, 2005, at Celina Manor Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 29, 1914, in Mercer County, to Willis and Verna Wurster. The retired farmer has no survivors. Private services will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, has charge of arrangements. |
