Bradley Courtney Bradley Joe Courtney, 49, of Willshire, died at 12:17 a.m. Aug. 22, 2005, at Van Wert County Hospital. Death was due to natural causes. He was born Aug. 2, 1956, in Celina, to Robert E. and Florence Shaffer Courtney. On Jan. 3, 1976, he married Cheryl Huston who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Brandi (Jeff) Miller, Willshire, and Melissa (Brad) Pennington, Rockford; a sister, Nancy Jane (Roger) Harlamert, Rockford; and 10 grandchildren. A sister, Jean Elaine, is deceased. He was an auto body repairman and a member of Rockford American Legion Post 508. The Rev. Joseph Hajduch, CPPS, 85, St. Charles Center, Carthagena, died Aug. 20, 2005, at the St. Charles Infirmary. He was born May 31, 1920, in Whiting, Ind., to Andrew and Anna Kovacik Hajduch. Surviving are three brothers, Andrew, David and Jerome, no towns listed. A brother, Richard, is deceased. He was ordained to the priesthood in the Society of the Precious Blood May 15, 1947 and served 44 years as parochial vicar and pastor of parishes in Nebraska, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and North Dakota before retiring to St. Charles in 1991. He has also served as chaplain at St. Francis Convent, Rice Lake, Wis. Funeral Mass is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Charles, the Rev. James Urbanic officiating. Clarence T. "Jack" Minch, 76, 7135 state Route 49, Celina, died at 6:44 p.m. Aug. 21, 2005, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. He was born March 17, 1929, in Celina, to Michael and Antoinette Feipel Minch. On Nov. 20, 1954, he married Emily Kremer who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Dan of Cleveland, Ken of Celina and Jim of San Francisco, Calif.; two daughters, Deb (Don) Reinhart, Celina, and Diana (Jeff) Wendel, Trinity, Ind.; a brother, Walter of St. Henry; three sisters, Helen Steele and Clara, both of Celina, and Mary Ann (Bob) Caldwell, St. Marys; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Minch, Florence, Ala., and Wahneta Minch, Celina; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Three brothers, Harold, Rudy and Lewis, are deceased. He was a retired farmer and seed salesman. He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a pitcher on the Montezuma Ducks baseball team during the 1950s. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with the Fort Recovery American Legion Post conducting military rites. Celina native Frances M. Shady, 74, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died at 1:55 p.m. Aug, 20, 2005, at Parkview Hospital. Fort Wayne. She was born Feb. 8, 1931, in Celina, to Owen and Helen Walter Fisher. Following the death of her first husband, Glen Rose, she married Jack L. Shady who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Mike (Denise) of Hoagland, Ind., Roger (Cindy) of Decatur, Ind., and Don of Paso Robles, Calif.; two stepsons, Dennis (Connie) and Kenneth, all of Decatur; two stepdaughers, Carol (Mike) Terhune and Joan Roth, also of Decatur; a brother, Clifford (Rita) Fisher, Celina; a sister, Barbara Huelskamp, Coldwater; two sisters-in-law, Rita Fisher and Hilda Fisher, both of Celina; four grandchildren, seven stepgrandhildren and seven stepgreat granchildren. Deceased are a brother, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linus Huelskamp. She retired from Kohl's in 1995. Funeral Mass is 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
