Florence Adams

Florence Margaret Adams, 87, 5780 Erastus-Durbin Road, Celina, died at 11:55 a.m. Aug. 28, 2005, at Miller House in Celina.
   Arrangements are pending at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.


Brother Steve Lauer

Brother Steve Lauer, C.PP.S., 82, St. Charles Center, Carthagena, died Aug. 28, 2005, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
   Arrangements are pending at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.


Tressie Morgan

Tressie Morgan, 77, 603 Hoying St., Celina, died at 5 p.m. Aug. 27, 2005, at her home.
   She was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Coal Mountain, W. Va., to Dewey and Clara Brown Hatfield. On July 28, 1948, she married Babe Morgan who died Sept. 15, 1993.
   Surviving are a son, Steve of Celina; four daughters, Anita Ellis and Brenda (Ted) Trego, all of Celina, Debbie Fair, Virginia Beach, Va., and Barbara (John) Steele, Mendon; a daughter-in-law, Jeanette Morgan, Celina; two brothers, Wert Hatfield, Simon, W. Va., and Roger (Kathy) of Coal Mountain; three sisters, Junie Godfrey, Celina, Marie Toler, Rock House, W. Va., and Irene Bandy, Elkton, Md.; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son, Jerry; two sons-in-law, Bevan Ellis and George Fair; a brother, Kaiser Hatfield; and a sister, Claudie Toler.
   She was employed as a food concession worker at the Marathon station on North Main Street in Celina and previously worked as a cook at the former Ashton Terrace Nursing Home in Celina and as an Avon representative. She attended Abounding Grace Church and was a member of New Start Community Fellowship Church, both of Celina.
   Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Revs. Johnny Mobley and Rick Brosher officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice.


Maxine Woodruff

Celina native Maxine Woodruff, 85, Huber Heights, died Aug. 27, 2005, at Crestview Manor Nursing Home, Dayton.
   She was born Nov. 19, 1919, in Celina, to James Leslie and Ilo Don Loughridge.
   Surviving with Maurice Woodruff, her husband of 64 years, are a son, Richard Allen (Barbara) of New Cumberland, Pa.; a daughter, Barbara Lynn (Stephen) Kelly, Beavercreek; four brothers, Lowell E. (Lucille) Loughridge, Jerry F. (Ruth) Loughridge, Richard L. (Lyn) Loughridge and Charles (Betty) Miller, all of Celina; a sister-in-law, Cleo Loughridge, also of Celina; five grandchildren and four great-grandsons.
   A brother, James Allen Loughridge, is deceased.
   She was a member of Sulfur Grove United Methodist Church.
   Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home, Dayton, the Rev. Jack Drodge officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
