Lewis Hilleary Lewis Benjamin "Bud" Hilleary, 87, 120 N. Pike St., Celina, died at 1:10 a.m. Sept. 6, 2005, at his home. He was born Sept. 27, 1917, in Celina, to Geary and Birtie Maxal Hilleary. On April 18, 1939, he married Theona Mowery who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Lewis W. (Sharon) of Urbana, Michael L. (Pam) of Mendon, Guy E. (Jane) of Celina, and Klayton (Mary) of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Diana K. Siegrist, Celina; two half sisters, Sharon Hilleary and Connie Wartman, Lima; a stepbrother, Ted of Lima; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and three stepgranddaughters. Deceased are a sisters, Helen Share and a half-sister, Beatrice Maxal; three half brothers, Wilbur, Geary Jr. and Thomas; a stepmother, Mima Hilleary; a granddaughter and a stepgrandson. He worked in the city of Celina street department for 35 years before retiring in 1981. He attended Grace Missionary Church and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, both of Celina. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Steve Howell and Harold Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at Zion State Line Public Cemetery, Washington Township. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Former Celina resident Phyllis J. Huser Norton, 76, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died at 11:40 a.m. Sept. 5, 2005, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Nov. 9, 1928, in Adams County, Ind., to Theodore and Sina Fisher Luginbill. Following the death of her first husband, Kenneth Huser, she married Charles Norton who is deceased. Surviving are two daughters, Debra (David) Highland and Rhonda Huser, all of Fort Wayne; a brother, Robert Luginbill, Decatur, Ind.; and two grandchildren. A former beautician in Berne, Ind., and Celina, she retired from Parkview Hospital. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, the Rev. Jeff Haynes officiating. Burial will follow at M.R.E. Cemetery, Berne. Calling is 7-9 p.m. Friday and after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the Adams County Community Foundation -- Cancer Fund.
Services for Norma Felver were Sept. 2, 2005, at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiated. Organist was Margaret Fisher. Pallbearers to Buck Cemetery were John and Jeff Farmer, Dave Hippley, Mike Miller, Andy Cron and Jerry Dues.
Graveside services for Stanley Howell were Aug. 23, 2005, at Swamp College Cemetery, the Rev. Morris Now officiated. Pallbearers were Paul and Jack Maurer, Ed Lawrence, Dave and Larry Howell and Wayne and Tim Doner. Larry Bollenbacher was an honorary pallbearer. The Celina American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts conducted military rites. Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, had charge of arrangements. |
