Norma Meyer

Norma L. Meyer, 91, formerly of 12 N. Lincoln Drive, Minster, died at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 8, 2005, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
   She was born July 17, 1914, in Fort Loramie, to Fred and Bernadine Ernst Brandewie. On Aug. 12, 1939, she married Edward Meyer who died Jan. 19, 1977.
   Surviving are a son, Fred (Margaret) of Minster; four daughters, Sandy (John) Maurer, Arlington, Texas, Peggy Bonfiglio, Rockaway, N.J., Pam (Mike) Sommer and Gayle (Tim) Kuehner, all of Minster; 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son-in-law, Joseph Bonfiglio; a brother and two sisters.
   She co-owned and operated the Wooden Shoe Inn, Minster, until 1977 and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and St. Monica Ladies Sodality, also of Minster.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
   Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice.


Dann Reber

Dann R. Reber, 48, 506 E. Boundary St., Fort Recovery, died at 11:33 p.m. Sept. 7, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind., following a sudden illness.
   He was born April 12, 1957, in Rockford, Ill., to Laurel and Milrae Nicholson Reber, who survive in Middlebury, Ind. On Aug. 6, 1983, he married Jennifer L. Reichert who survives.
   Also surviving are two brothers, Timm (Melissa) of White Pigeon, Mich., and Ross (Cat) of Middlebury; two sisters, Lynn (Karl) Kaufman, Middlebury, and Jann Stapleton, Enola, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Patricia Reichert, Decatur, Ind.; and two sisters-in-law, Julie (Andy) Pax, Fort Recovery, and Rikki (Harold) Reichert-Keller, Bryant, Ind.
   Deceased are a brother, Todd, and a father-in-law, William Reichert Jr.
   He formerly owned and operated Homestead Restaurant in Fort Recovery and was employed at Cotterman & Co. Inc., Minster.
   Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Pastor Lowell Kosak officiating.
   Calling in 1-5 p.m. Sunday and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the Mercer County Cancer Association.
