Joseph Klosterman

Joseph David Klosterman, 23, 14161 state Route 127, North Star, died at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at his residence. Death was due to cancer.
   He was born Sept. 20, 1982, in Coldwater, to Robert and Connie Klingshirn Klosterman. His mother survives in North Star.
   Also surviving are three brothers, Matthew (Kim), Coldwater, Eric, Celina, and John Paul (Susan), Versailles. He was preceded in death by his father.
   He was a member of the St. Louis Church and worked at Star Greenhouses, North Star.
   Funeral service is 10:30 a.m., Friday, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m., Thursday, and 9-10 a.m., Friday, at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.


Mary Moore

Mary Moore, 79, 1100 Myers Road, Celina, died at 6 p.m., Sept. 18, 2005, at Akron General Hospital, Akron, while on a trip.
   She was born Jan. 30, 1926.
   Surviving are one son, David Gruttadaurio, Princeton, Ind., and one daughter, Joyce Gruttadaurio, Celina.
   Memorial talk is 2 p.m., Saturday, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, Wapakoneta.


Richard Sipe

Richard E. "Feet" Sipe, 74, 115 Jack Imel Ave., Portland, Ind., died at 4:20 p.m., Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
   He was born Aug. 6, 1931, in Jay County, Ind., to Otho and Hattie McCurdy Sipe. He married Betty Girton in 1953 and she died in 2003. On Aug. 21, 2004, he married Barbara Dull and she survives in Portland.
   Also surviving are one son, Kent (Janet), Carmel, Ind.; one daughter, Shelly (Brian) Rippy, Ind.; one step-son, John Earl (Jeanie) Dull, and one step-daughter, Connie (Chuck) Lamken, all of Ridgeville, Ind.; one grandchild; five step-grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
   He was a farmer, tax-accountant, past president and board member of Rural Electric Municiple Cooperative, Portland, a member of Deerfield United Methodist Church, Ridgeville, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 417, Portland, Indiana Farm Bureau, and American Legion Post 507, Ridgeville.
   He was a graduate of Ball State University and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
   Funeral service is 11 a.m., Thursday, at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, Pastor Nancy L. Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at the Reitenour Cemetery, Deerfield, Ind.
   Calling is 5-9 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the church, Jay County Heart Fund, or Kidney Foundation.
