Dennis Bruns Former Celina native Dennis M. Bruns, 69, of Kissimmee, Fla., died at 7 a.m. Sept. 26, 2005, in Tampa, Fla. He was born April 11, 1936, in Celina, to Bert and Nadine Smith Bruns. On October 28, 1961, he married Denise Arditi who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Eben (Marieme) and Daniel (Sylvie), all of Kissimmee, Fla.; a sister, Linda of Celina; and two grandsons. Deceased is a brother, Richard. He retired from the American Express Bank, Paris, France. A 1954 Celina High School graduate, he attended the Cleveland Playhouse School of Drama. Ruth Goubeaux, 71, of Versailles, died at 12:01 a.m. Sept. 25, 2005, at her residence. She was born May 27, 1934, in Fort Recovery, to Lawrence and Justina Braun Brunswick. On Aug. 26, 1961, she married Edward F. Goubeaux who died Feb. 18, 1999. Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey (Anna) of Independence, Ky., and Jason (Lorinda) of Versailles; three daughters, Deborah (Lon) Moyer Sr., Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany, Karen (Dave) Stucke, Versailles, and Patricia (Daniel) Winner, North Star; four brothers, Robert (Erma) Brunswick, Maria Stein, Bill (Verna) Brunswick, Beverly Hills, Fla., John (Donna) Brunswick, Coldwater, and Arthur (Dorothy) Brunswick, Beavercreek; a sister, Bernice Flaherty, West Des Moines, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Mildred Brunswick, Fort Recovery; and 10 grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Michael; three sisters, Mary and Wilma Brunswick and Rita Tumbush; two brothers, Mel and Richard Brunswick and two brothers-in-law, Mike Flaherty and Frank Trumbush. She retired from Weaver Bros. Inc., and was a member of the St. Denis Catholic Church, both of Versailles. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. John E. Porter officiating. Marcile Irene Krick, 88, 109 S. Main St., Mendon, died at 12:50 p.m. Sept. 26, 2005, at Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 8, 1917, in Van Wert County, to J. Williard and Elsi Fanoff Sherman. On April 9, 1938, she married Henry Junior Krick who died Sept. 6, 2003. Surviving are three sons, Larry (Alice) and Martin (Betty), all of Celina, and Lowell (Martha) of Mendon; two brothers, Robert (Dorothy) Sherman, Van Wert, and Roger (Opal) Sherman, Walbridge; a sister, Maxine Powell, Defiance; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Walden and Paul Sherman; a sister, Louise Fisher; a grandson and a great-grandson. She was a retired cook for the former Mendon-Union school system. Viola O. Leugers, 76, formerly of Rockford and Celina, died at 7:45 a.m. Sept. 26, 2005, at Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born on June 22, 1929, in Cranberry, to Urban and Agusta Muhlenkamp Link. On Nov. 13, 1948, she married Othmar L. Leugers who died in 2002. Survivors are two sons, John (Sherri) of Milan, Mich., and Thomas (Rachel) of Dayton; two brothers, Melvin Link, Lima, and Ralph (Esther) Link, Dayton; three sisters, Edna (Lee) Prenger, Minster, Eileen Ranly, Cassella, and Bernice (Charles) Stacy, Flemingsburg, Ky.; a brother-in-law, Frank Feltz, Cassella; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Deceased are a sister, Hulda Feltz; a sister-in-law, Delores Link; and a brother-in-law, Arthur Ranly. She owned and operated Vi's Beauty Salon, Celina. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and a past president of the Altar Rosary Sodality. She was a member of the Knights of St. John Auxiliary and American Legion 210 Ladies Auxiliary, both of Celina. Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Doris A. Livingston, 64, 207 N. Seventh St., Coldwater, died at 8:21 p.m. Sept. 25, 2005, at her residence of natural causes. She was born May 20, 1941, in Celina, to Albert and Pauline Wendel Post. On May 25, 1963, she married Harold George Livingston who died June 23, 2003. Surviving are two sons, Ken (Sharon) of Greenville, and Rick (Amy) of Celina; two daughters, Theresa (Rashad) Najmi, Lorain, and Pam (Bob) Wilder, Coldwater; two sisters, Nancy Swain and Ginny (Jim) Findley, all of Coldwater; and nine grandchildren. Deceased are a brother-in-law, Gary Swain, and a grandchild. She was a cook at Coldwater Exempted Village Schools, former owner of Bruken's Restaurant, Fort Loramie, and catered special occasions for many years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann's Rosary Altar Society and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3025 Auxiliary, all of Coldwater.
