Alvin Luebke Alvin H. Luebke, 78, 1005 Fairground Road, Celina, died at 4 a.m. Oct. 10, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born Sept. 27, 1927, in Maria Stein to the Fred and Helen Walterbush Luebke. On April 13, 1948, he married Mary Ann Homan who survives in Celina. Also surviving are a son, Ron (Melissa), Celina; four daughters, Cathy (John) Huwer of Dover, Del., Cheryl of Clearwater, Fla., Paulette Rhyne, Denver, Colo. and Deb (Gary) Bruns, Celina; a brother, Lawrence (Rosalie) of Minster; three sisters, Marie Wente, New Bremen, Irene (Tom) Woehrmyer, Minster, and Jeanette (Lee) Moeder, Maria Stein; two sisters-in-law, Joann of Fort Loramie and Della Mae of Coldwater; and 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Gregory and Paul; a sister, Luetta Schemmel, two brothers-in-law, Larry Schemmel and Leo Wente and a grandson. He retired from Avco New Idea and owned Luebke Real Estate. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 1800, both of Celina. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the churc, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Celina. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and before 9:45 am on Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
