Beverly Briner

Beverly Briner, 68, formerly of Coldwater, died Oct. 7, 2005, at her daughter's home in Cincinnati.
   She was born Feb 24, 1937, in Fort Recovery, to Gerald and Grace Kochersperger Dilworth.
   Surviving are a son, Jeff (Sandy) of Maumee; three daughters, Deb (Mike) Homan, Columbus, Nancy of Sidney, and Teresa (Steve) Schuholz, Cincinnati; a brother, Bill (Betty) Dilworth, Winterhaven, Fla.; a sister, Lois Schroyer, Celina; and six grandchildren.
   Deceased are a brother, Ted Dilworth, and a brother-in-law, Harold Schroyer.
   She was part owner of Briner's Restuarant and a nurse supervisor at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
   Services were held today at Hodapp Funeral Home, Cincinnati.

Ruth Schmidt

Ruth A. Schmidt, 83, formerly of 33 North St., Osgood, died at 6:26 p.m. Oct. 10, 2005, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
   She was born June 17, 1922, in Sidney, to Herman and Mary Vondenhuevel Winner. On May 30, 1942, she married Lawrence H. Schmidt who died April 12, 1991.
   Surviving are a son, Jerrold of Van Wert; two daughters, Madonna Jean (Lester) Albers and Carol Ann (Alfred) Unrast, all of Osgood; a sister-in-law, Loretta Winner, Osgood; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a brother, Norbert Winner; and two sisters, Viola Voisard and Alvena Middendorf.
   She was a homemaker and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, St. Barbara's Ladies Sodality and the American Legion Auxiliary, all of Osgood.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
   Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.


Theo Temple

Theo V. Temple, 91, 1130 E. Market St., Celina, died at 8:45 a.m. Oct. 11, 2005, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
   He was born July 24, 1914, in Rockford, to Peter Calvin and Loa Robbins Temple. On May 4, 1940, he married Marge Herman who died in August 1987.
   Surviving are three sons, Doug (Patty) and Peter Kent (Jane), all of Celina, and Gregg (Cynthia Cheney) Temple, Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Jan (Ted) Elsass and Cheryl Davis, all of Celina, and Michele of Queens, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, seven stepgreat-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and six stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a brother, Ivan, a grandchild and a stepgrandchild.
   He retired as manager of the former Edgewater Park and the State Liquor Store, both of Celina. He was a 1932 graduate of Rockford High School.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, the Rev. Thomas Brentberger officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
   Contributions can be made to the church endowment fund.
