Mary E. Goodwin, 68, of Delphos, died at 11:44 p.m. Oct. 16, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born Dec. 12, 1936, in Coldwater, to Andy and Lela Kincaid Black. On Aug. 27, 1954, she married Carl Lee Goodwin, who died Dec. 29, 1996. Surviving are three sons, Gary Sr. and Joe (Mary Lou), all of Delphos, and Larry (Linda) of Dublin; a daughter, Brenda of Ottoville; three sisters, Karen Ross, Wabash, Helen Woodward, Laquard, Mo., and Lulubelle Jeffries, Celina; a brother, Johnny Black, Celina; special friend, Don Andrews, Delphos; and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, Jamie Black. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos, the Rev. Ron Drage officiating. Burial is at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Marian Violet Grevenkamp, 76, of Bishop, Calif., died Sept. 18, 2005, at her home. She was born Feb. 26, 1929, in Merced, Calif., to John and Lillian McMurray. Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Cassella native Linus Grevenkamp. Also surviving are five sons, Thomas of Long Beach, Calif., Daniel (Chris) of Pleasant Hill, Calif., and Russell (Mary), Alan (Kathy) and Charles (Karen), all of Bishop,; two daughters, Susan (Michael) Henderson, Martinez, Calif., and Jeanette (Douglas) Underwood, Costa Mesa, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Urban (Alice) of Celina; three sisters-in-law, Adella Hess, St. Henry, Monica of Cassella, and Marge McMurry, no address given; and 11 grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers and a sister. She graduated from Bishop Union High School in 1947 and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bishop. Joyce Elaine Austerman Holthaus, 70, of Dawson Road, Fort Loramie, died at 2:05 a.m. Oct. 17, 2005, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. She was born Aug. 4, 1935, in Boston, Ind., to Lawrence and Blanche R. Miller Austerman. On June 3, 1961, she married Paul V. Holthaus who died Dec. 9, 1995. Surviving are two sons, Donald (Beverly) and Ralph, all of Fort Loramie; two daughters, Linda (James) Brandewie, Fort Loramie, and Nancy (Keith) Kuess, Chickasaw; a sister, Janet (Keith) Harris, Fountain City, Ind.; and eight grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Annette Homan Holthaus; and a granddaughter. She was a homemaker and graduate of Richmond High School, Ind. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, and a past officer of St. Ann's Ladies Sodality. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery. Calling is 2-9 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie. Contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice. |
