Mary R. Hoelscher, 95, 105 Water St., Osgood, died at 1 a.m. Oct. 25, 2005, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater. She was born Jan. 24, 1910, in St. Patrick, to Joseph and Bernadine Heitkamp Grieshop. On May 25, 1932 she married Clem J. Hoelacher, who died Jan. 1, 1975. Surviving are two sons, Richard of Yorkshire, and Henry (Faye) of Tipton, Ind.; eight daughters, Mildred (Romie) Frilling, St. Henry; Julia Pleiman, Fort Loramie; Theresa Pleiman, Newport; Theckla (Lud) Hoying, Anna; Patricia (Joe) Romer, St. Henry; Rosalee (Paul) Holdheide, Maria Stein; Margaret (Jim) Snider, Jackson Center; and Joyce (Michael) Liette, Versailles; two daughter-in-laws, Kathleen Hoelsher, Yorkshire; and Linda (Bob) Schwegman, Celina; 42 grandchildren; and 83 great-grandchildren. Deceased are five brothers; a sister; two sons, John and Victor; two daughter-in-laws, Patricia and Doris Hoelscher; two son-in-laws, Carl and Elton Pleiman; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood; St. Barbara Ladies Sodality, and Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Fort Loramie. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at St. Martins Cemetery, Osgood. David F. Luebke, 58, 226 N. Herman St., New Bremen, died at 12:05 p.m. Oct. 24, 2005, at his residence of natural causes. He had been ill for a year. He was born June 21, 1947, in Piqua, to Lawrence and Rosalee Schemmel Luebke, who survive in Minster. He was engaged to Anna Luedeke, who survives in New Bremen. Also surviving are two daughters, Gina (Adrian) Navarrete, Poughquag, N.Y., and Cheryl of New Rochelle, N.Y.; three brothers, Dan of New Bremen, Larry (Jennifer) Nancy (Joe) all of Minster and Bruce of Celina; four sisters, Diane (Jim) Boerger, Cleveland, Sandy (Larry) Hoying, Minster, Brenda (Craig) Sherman, Powell, and Elaine (Roy) Brown, Minster; and two grandchildren. Deceased is a sister-in-law, Ann Luebke. He worked at Manhattanville College, N.Y.; Dannon Company, Minster; and Kentucky Fried Chicken, New Bremen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1391, Minster, and a 1964 graduate of Minster High School. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Church, Minster, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery. Dorothy C. Miller, 82, 7685 state Route 118, Celina, died at 6:52 a.m. Oct. 25, 2005, at Joint Township Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She was born on Aug. 19, 1923, in Mercer County to Hugo and Marie Becher Willrath. On Feb. 28, 1948, she married Ivan Miller who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Rose (Lyn) Green, Celina, Kathleen (James) Emrich, Amboy, Ind., and Carol (Terry) Lewis, Middleburg, Fla.; one brother, John Willrath, Mendon; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, Glen Willrath. She was a homemaker and a 1941 graduate of Celina High School. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, at the church, the Rev. Mike Westbay officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery.
